Pre-launch -- no listings live
K12.Associates
The roster of vetted K-12 implementation partners. Zero listings live today -- here is what it will be and how to reach us before it is.
What K12.Associates is
K12.Associates is a single roster address for the firms and independent consultants who do implementation work around K-12 systems: student information system (SIS) migrations, procurement and RFP response support, professional-development rollout for a new platform, data-privacy and FERPA/COPPA compliance audits, and photo-day / yearbook production operations. It is a directory, not a marketplace -- there is no card payment flow, no commission, and no bidding. It is not a review site: no partner on this page has a star rating, because no partner is listed yet.
It is deliberately narrow. It does not cover general school-supply vendors, curriculum publishers, or facilities contractors -- those categories already have their own directories elsewhere on the web. This roster is scoped to firms doing hands-on implementation and operations work tied to K-12 software and picture-day systems.
Who it is for
Districts choosing a partner
A curriculum director evaluating a mid-year SIS migration, a business office lead writing an RFP for photo-day services, or an IT director who needs a data-privacy audit before a board vote. Today this page gives you a way to ask to be notified when listings go live -- no live listing exists here today, so there is nothing yet to browse or contact.
Firms wanting to be listed
A small implementation shop or independent consultant who already works with K-12 districts and wants a single, honest address that sends the right districts their way. Listing will not be automatic or paid -- see Vetting below for what we will actually check.
How it will work
- Intake. A firm submits its scope (which of the five categories above), the states or districts it has actually worked in, and two references we can call directly -- no self-reported testimonial quotes accepted as evidence on their own.
- Vetting. We call the references, confirm the firm is not on any state or federal debarment list for the relevant work, and confirm any data-handling claim (e.g. FERPA training) against a document, not a checkbox.
- Listing. A vetted firm gets one entry: its scope, its confirmed reference districts (with permission), and a direct contact -- no lead-purchase, no pay-to-rank.
- District contact. A district reaches a listed firm directly. K12.Associates does not sit in the middle of that conversation, take a fee, or see the outcome.
None of these four steps has run yet. This section describes the design, not a completed build.
Vetting criteria (draft)
- At least two K-12 district references we can call directly, not quote-only testimonials.
- No active debarment or suspension on a state or federal vendor-exclusion list for education-related work.
- A documented data-handling policy covering FERPA and, where the firm touches under-13 accounts, COPPA -- reviewed as a document, not asserted by the firm.
- Scope claims checked against at least one completed, reference-confirmed engagement in that category.
This list is the current draft. It will be published in full, and revised in public, before the first listing goes live -- not adjusted quietly after the fact.
Questions districts and firms actually ask
"Is this just a lead-gen funnel?" No commission, no lead-purchase, no pay-to-rank is planned or built. If that changes, this page will say so before it happens, not after.
"Who runs the vetting?" Stanley Studios, the same team that builds the Homeroom platform and its sibling K-12 products. We have not vetted anyone yet -- see How it will work above.
"Can I get listed by paying?" No. The draft vetting criteria above are reference- and document-based, not fee-based, and that will not change without this page changing first.
What is honest-off today
K12.Associates has zero live partner listings today. The roster, the vetting criteria, and the intake form below describe what is being built, not what a visitor can browse right now.
- No partner listing exists on this host.
- No vetting decision has been made about any firm.
- No search, filter, or directory browse function exists.
- No fee, commission, or payment of any kind is collected here.
- No AI-driven matching, AI-written summary, or AI vetting is used anywhere on this roster.
For firms wanting to be listed
The first vetting cohort has not opened. If your firm does K-12 SIS migration, procurement/RFP support, PD rollout, data-privacy audit, or photo-day operations work and wants to be considered when it does, ask below -- this records interest only, it does not start vetting.
The honesty section
Nothing on this page is AI. No listing, ranking, or matching is automated or machine-generated.
No money moves here. There is no price, no listing fee, no commission, and no card payment flow of any kind.
No firm, district, testimonial, or count on this page is invented -- there are zero live listings, so none are printed.
